Book of the Month
We are bringing to your attention one of the three large format books by Elton Leme in his series on the “Bromeliads of the 
Atlantic Forest”. This one is dedicated to Canistropsis  and will be offered at the upcoming Extravaganza on September 30. You could get one free if registering at the hotel and buying two
 dinner tickets.  
This exceptional book covers not only the interests of the 
beginners who will marvel at the colorful illustrations, but also those of the experts who will follow the taxonomic details used by Leme to describe 14 of these beautiful plants some of which we are 
familiar with. That is the case of the C. Seidelii with its bright complex yellow inflorescence or the C. Billbergioides whose flowers can be deep blue to light pink.
