Sister Act part 3( Revenge of the Gator )

A lot of you heard by now that a 4 to 5

foot alligator wandered into our pond. It

traveled a long way from the canel in the back of the property. Plantations finest came out for the capture, but no luck.

As you can see, we had to drain the pond and NO GATOR!!!!!! It made it’s

escape in the middle of the night. 

Summer and Brandy ( the dogs )

were even in on the act.

WHAT A  2 DAY EXPERIENCE !!!

 

 

Update on weekend warriors Larry Davis and Harriet Abo’s Shadehouse endeavor

After the original article in the Scurf, several knowledgeable members questioned the use of pressure treated lumber for the top stringers. After hearing a few horror stories, we decided to use well-stained white lumber for these support pieces. Shade cloth is up, sprinklers are in, rock is being spread...Will update when everything is complete.
