Amendment to the By-Laws

 

The article  of our By-Laws for which an amendment is being proposed and will be subject to a vote of the Assembly of members at the upcoming meeting is Article VI. Dues. Item 5.

 

The present text reads as follows:

                          “The Society year shall begin as of the regular meeting in May. Dues shall be payable at the beginning of the Society year. Any member delinquent for 80 days shall automatically de dropped from the roll after having been duly notified by the Treasurer.”

 

The proposed text is:

                          “The fiscal year of the Society shall begin on February 1^st and end on January 31^st. Dues are

payable on February 1^st. Any member whose dues  are delinquent for 80 days shall be dropped from membership following notification by the Treasurer“
