Nomination of Officers for 2008 / 2009

 

The Nominating Committee will present the slate at the March meeting.  Election of Officers for our society will take place at the April meeting.  The new officers will assume their offices in May.

February’s cover:  Further identification on the Vriesea platynema var. variegata on the cover of the February Scurf .  It was so named in part because of the green lines (hence variegations) in the leaves. Because the cultivar pictured and grown by Dr,. Karl Green also has white variegations, it is properly named Vriesea platynema v. variegata ,variegated.
