April 19, 2008 BSBC Saturday Field Trip

We will be going to Selby Gardens in Sarasota, home of the BSI Identification Center.  The Director, Harry Luther will give us a private behind-the-scenes look at the research greenhouses.  This day trip will meet at Jim Ward Community Center at 7:00 am and the bus will leave at 7:30 am.  The bus will depart from Selby Gardens at 3:30 p.m.  You may bring your own box lunch or eat at Michael’s Restaurant on the grounds of Selby Gardens.  If you have questions, please call Maureen Frazel at 954-474-1349.  If you want to join us and reserve your space, call JoAnn Heyer at 954-436-5348 or see her at the March meeting which is the deadline for reservations.  There will be a charge for the bus trip, but admission to the Gardens will be free for this trip.

 

April 26th City of Plantation Green Day.  10 am to 2 pm at Liberty Tree Park, 7421 NW 5th St.  BSBC we’ll have two tables - 1 for membership and 1 for potting and mounting demos.  We need Volunteers to man our booth.  Contact
