Elections are over, it is time to thank those members of the Board who decided not to continue serving for a second year, namely, Colleen Hendrix and Harry Sperling who had been Vice-President and Recording Secretary. Their work in the Board strengthened our Society and needs to be recognized by all.

At the same time, we welcome the new members of the Board. We are joined this year by Becky Blackwood as Vice-President, Ann Schandelmayer as Recording

Secretary and JoAnn Heyer as a 3-year Director. With their contribution we expect our Society to continue

performing at a high level, particularly because we will be engaged in preparing for our 2007 Show and Sale and the state wide Extravaganza.

Finally, we had a very successful Sale at the Plant

Affair in Heritage Park on April 22nd and 23rd. Not only a good group of members sold a large number of their plants but our Society’s coffers received a proportion of the sales.

Let us all cooperate to make our 42^nd year another

successful one!
