Polly”  Pascal has been with the Society since 1977 and has served in our Board from secretary, treasurer, editor of the Bromeliad Commentary, to Vice-President as well as President several times. She is now the Judges Registrar for the Eastern Judging District. Not only is she an avid collector but an avid seeker of new plants. Her yard and shade houses bear  witness to that.                              

Below left, a sizable  clump of a large  Ae. Nudicaulis hybrid guards the front of the house. At right a red Orthophytum projects an interesting shadow.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On the left above, several Androlepis Skinnerii, the male of the species, some in full bloom, show much color on a very sunny spot. On the right, an Ae. Dichlamydea var.
