Text Box: All instructors will bring demonstration plants. However, the most important plants will be the ones members have selected for the show or would like to enter. So, please do not be shy, bring all the plants you would like to see shinning on the show tables with your name on (after judging is completed of course!), and enjoy the thrill of seeing them win an award!! If you have a decorative container, bring that too!! A perfect example, the last show……. I asked Jim Kerns if he was going to enter, he was very hesitant, didn’t think he had anything special and said probably not. I said, “ Please Jim, you never know, just enter and see what happens” Well, sure enough he entered and the guy beat us all and won “ Best in Show”…...he was stunned. What a fantastic day for him. So the moral of the story is, this year enter!!!!!! You never know what the outcome may be and believe me it is so gratifying to get an award for all the hard work you have put into your bromeliads. Bromeliad Society of Broward County Show and Sale April 14th and 15th Anyone who would like to participate this year in preparation for the show, please get with Pepe or Ann Schandlemayer. There are plenty of positions such as clerks, set - up and tear down that need to be filled. All of you newer members please don’t be shy, everyone’s help is needed. Set-up is the 12th, Judging is the 13th and the Show and Sale is open to the public the 14th and 15th. We will need manning of the sales tables as well.
